Foreign Policy has compiled a list of who they consider to be the top global thinkers on Twitter. I can’t say I’m familiar with all of them, or even most, but I’d like to point out two in particular:
- Clay Shirky (@cshirky): author of Here Comes Everybody, perhaps one of the most important books on the Internet and group dynamics; and
- Ethan Zuckerman (@EthanZ): creator of the Cute Cat Theory of Digital Activism, which explains the relationship between Internet platforms, lolcats, pornography, and activism. It’s well worth a read if you haven’t yet.
